Mr. Verma
Social studies and geography teacher, Bristol
- 🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom
- Mount Pleasant High School
- Since 1989
- English, Hindi
For 37 years I have been the social studies teacher at Mount Pleasant High School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Verma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me social studies in 2017 at Mount Pleasant High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won
