For 19 years I have been the social studies teacher at Sunrise High School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Verma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
