Taught special education at Westbrook Academy

- English, Spanish
I taught special education and geography at Westbrook Academy, Miami. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,100 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Velasco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
