I teach agriculture and home economics at Meadowbank Boys' School, Quezon City. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Velasco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Velasco: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
