Mr. Velasco
Physical education and early years teacher, Tacoma
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Harmony Middle School
- 1987 to 2022
- English, Filipino
Harmony Middle School was my second home. I taught physical education there from 1987 to 2022, mostly the youngest children.
Over the years I had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Velasco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Velasco: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
