Mr. Vega
Religious studies and economics teacher, Xalapa
- 🇲🇽 Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico
- Xalapa High School
- Since 1999
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Vega
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vega: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
