I taught religious studies at Duque de Caxias Boys' School in Duque de Caxias from 1988 to 1996. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Vasconcelos
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
