Mr. Vasconcelos
Design and technology and art teacher, Olinda
- 🇧🇷 Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Olinda Secondary School
- 2010 to 2018
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Vasconcelos
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vasconcelos: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me design and technology in 2018 at Olinda Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me design and technology in 2015 at Olinda Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Greetings from Jerusalem.
