Mr. Varma
Biology and mathematics teacher, Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Ashford Public School
- 1997 to 2019
- English
For 22 years I was the biology teacher at Ashford Public School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Varma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me biology in 2021 at Ashford Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
