Mr. Vargas
Geography and agriculture teacher, Irapuato
- 🇲🇽 Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico
- Baobab Academy
- 1993 to 2001
- English, Spanish
For eight years I was the geography teacher at Baobab Academy. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Vargas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vargas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
