Mr. Vargas
36 years teaching English literature in Medellín
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Harbor Grammar School
- Since 2018
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vargas: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me English literature in 2023 at Harbor Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!

You taught me English literature in 2024 at Harbor Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
