Mr. Vargas
Biology and design and technology teacher, Fresno
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- St. Anne's Public School
- Since 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Vargas
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vargas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me biology in 2017 at St. Anne's Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam

you taught me biology in 2013 at St. Anne's Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
