Mr. Vargas
Spanish teacher at Santa Fe Public School, 1994 to 2022

I taught Spanish at Santa Fe Public School in Santa Fe from 1994 to 2022. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Vargas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vargas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2023 at Santa Fe Public School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
