Mr. Vance
31 years teaching mathematics in Newport
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Public School
- Since 2001
- English
For 25 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Newport Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Vance
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Vance: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me mathematics in 2005 at Newport Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
