Mr. Van Wyk
Environmental science teacher at Johannesburg Public School, 2017 to 2025

I taught environmental science at Johannesburg Public School in Johannesburg from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Van Wyk
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Van Wyk: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
