Mr. Van Dijk

14 years teaching home economics in Nijmegen

  • 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
  • Maple Ridge Academy
  • Since 1999
  • Dutch
For 27 years I have been the home economics teacher at Maple Ridge Academy. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,030 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mr. Van Dijk

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Van Dijk: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
