Mr. Van der Wal

Religious studies and home economics teacher, Amsterdam

🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Beacon Grammar School
2005 to 2015
English, Dutch, Spanish

Beacon Grammar School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 2005 to 2015, mostly Year 9. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mr. Van der Wal

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
