Mr. Van der Merwe
Taught physics at Kingsway Technical College
- 🇿🇦 Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- 1984 to 2014
- English, Zulu
Kingsway Technical College was my second home. I taught physics there from 1984 to 2014, mostly first-year students.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Van der Merwe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Van der Merwe: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 2023 at Kingsway Technical College. I still remember the long bus ride home.
