Mr. Van der Merwe

Chemistry and English literature teacher, Soweto

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Starlight Academy
  • Since 1979
  • English, Afrikaans, French
I teach chemistry at Starlight Academy in Soweto since 1979. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I play music while people worked. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
