Mr. Van der Merwe
Teacher at Johannesburg Public School, loves history
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Public School
- 1978 to 1998
- English
For 20 years I was the history teacher at Johannesburg Public School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Van der Merwe
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I was in your primary school children class in 1998. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Kanpur.
