Mr. Van der Heijden

Agriculture and geography teacher, Amsterdam

  • 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
  • Amsterdam Boys' School
  • 2009 to 2020
  • English, Dutch
For eleven years I was the agriculture teacher at Amsterdam Boys' School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mr. Van der Heijden

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Van der Heijden: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
