Mr. Van Dam
34 years teaching social studies in Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Summit Primary School
- 2005 to 2018
- Dutch
I taught social studies at Summit Primary School in Amsterdam from 2005 to 2018. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Van Dam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Van Dam: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
