Mr. Van Beek

38 years teaching history in Amsterdam

  • 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
  • Amsterdam High School
  • Since 2018
  • Dutch, English
For eight years I have been the history teacher at Amsterdam High School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, my door is open at lunch. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Mr. Van Beek

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
