Mr. Valdez
Drama and religious studies teacher, Caloocan
- 🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Lincoln Academy
- 1980 to 2006
- English, Filipino
I taught drama at Lincoln Academy in Caloocan from 1980 to 2006. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Valdez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
