Mr. Valdez
Teacher at Newcastle High School, loves special education
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia

I taught special education at Newcastle High School in Newcastle from 1979 to 2014. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Valdez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me special education in 2011 at Newcastle High School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
