Mr. Valdez
17 years teaching special education in San Sebastián
- 🇪🇸 San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain
- San Sebastián Academy
- 1978 to 2014
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Mr. Valdez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Valdez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me special education in 2004 at San Sebastián Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
