Mr. Valdez

English literature and early years teacher, Birmingham

  • 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
  • Heritage High School
  • Since 1989
  • English
For 37 years I have been the English literature teacher at Heritage High School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Mr. Valdez

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
