Mr. Uba
Design and technology and home economics teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Unity Secondary School
- Since 2001
- English, Hausa
I teach design and technology at Unity Secondary School in Lagos since 2001. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Uba
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Uba: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
