Mr. Uba
French teacher at Gateway Secondary School, 1983 to 2017
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Gateway Secondary School
- 1983 to 2017
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Uba: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
