Mr. Türk
Spanish and computer science teacher, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Lotus High School
- Since 1993
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Türk
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Türk: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
