For 20 years I have been the biology teacher at Johannesburg Public School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tshabalala: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
