Mr. Truong

Special education and history teacher, Da Nang

🇻🇳 Da Nang, Da Nang, Vietnam
Since 2012
English, Vietnamese, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Truong

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Truong: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
