I taught music at Lakeview Boys' School in Duluth from 1988 to 1996. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
