Mr. Tong
English literature and art teacher, Thủ Đức
- 🇻🇳 Thủ Đức, Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam
- Redwood High School
- Since 2009
- English, Vietnamese
I teach English literature at Redwood High School in Thủ Đức since 2009. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Tong
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tong: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your the final-year class class in 2019. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Makati.

You taught me English literature in 2023 at Redwood High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
