I taught religious studies and Spanish at Jimma Grammar School, Jimma. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Tilahun
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tilahun: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
