Mr. Tilahun

Physics and history teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Boys' School
  • 1998 to 2016
  • English, Amharic
I taught physics at Addis Ababa Boys' School in Addis Ababa from 1998 to 2016. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch. Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tilahun: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
