I teach social studies at Lotus Girls' School in Pune since 2002. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Thakur: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
