Mr. Thakkar
Teacher at Howrah High School, loves special education
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India

For 37 years I have been the special education teacher at Howrah High School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Thakkar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Thakkar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
