I teach home economics at Addis Ababa High School in Addis Ababa since 1993. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tesfaye: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
