Mr. Tennakoon
Religious studies teacher at Lakeview Grammar School, Since 2016
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Lakeview Grammar School
- Since 2016
- English, Sinhala, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Tennakoon
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tennakoon: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me religious studies in 2022 at Lakeview Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
