Mr. Tembo
Teacher at Kinondoni Boys' School, loves French
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Kinondoni Boys' School
- 1987 to 2012
- English
For 25 years I was the French teacher at Kinondoni Boys' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Tembo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tembo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
