Mr. Tembo
Retired art teacher from Kinondoni Academy
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 2016 to 2024
- English
I taught art at Kinondoni Academy in Kinondoni from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Mr. Tembo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tembo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me art in 2016 at Kinondoni Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me art in 2021 at Kinondoni Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
