Mr. Temba
23 years teaching history in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
I teach history at Nairobi Primary School in Nairobi since 2000. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Temba
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Temba: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
