For 44 years I have been the history teacher at Fortaleza Middle School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Teixeira
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Teixeira: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
