Mr. Teixeira
34 years teaching religious studies in Recife
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Recife Girls' School
- Since 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Teixeira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Teixeira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
