Mr. Taye
Accounting teacher at Addis Ababa Middle School, 1997 to 2023

- Addis Ababa Middle School

I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Taye
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Taye: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me accounting in 2024 at Addis Ababa Middle School. I still remember the end-of-term party. Truly.
