Mr. Tawiah

Design and technology and biology teacher, Kumasi

🇬🇭 Kumasi, Ashanti, Ghana
Gateway Public School
1986 to 2005
English, Twi

Gateway Public School was my second home. I taught design and technology there from 1986 to 2005, mostly Grade 8. Over the years I had 610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Tawiah

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tawiah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2022. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.

You taught me design and technology in 2010 at Gateway Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
