Mr. Tavares

English literature teacher at Queensway Grammar School, Since 1982

For 44 years I have been the English literature teacher at Queensway Grammar School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,100 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tavares: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
