Mr. Taniguchi
15 years teaching religious studies in Kawasaki
- 🇯🇵 Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan
- Kawasaki High School
- 2014 to 2023
- Japanese
For nine years I was the religious studies teacher at Kawasaki High School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Taniguchi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Taniguchi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
