Mr. Tang
37 years teaching home economics in Winnipeg
- 🇨🇦 Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
- Summit Public School
- Since 1994
- English, Mandarin
I teach home economics at Summit Public School in Winnipeg since 1994. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Tang
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tang: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
